Myrestine Malloy Women in Auto Scholarship

In the late 1970s, Myrestine took the bold step of enrolling in courses at Athens Technical College, demonstrating her eagerness to expand her knowledge and skills. Her decision to pursue the Auto Body program in 1980, despite societal expectations and barriers, is particularly inspiring. As the first woman and woman of color to undertake and successfully complete this program, Myrestine shattered stereotypes and paved the way for others to follow in her footsteps.
